Empowering Creative Expression
Our Founder
Gautam Menon is a passionate musician and educator who has always been committed to providing quality experiences and mentorship. Having played on thousands of stages across India and internationally, including MTV Coke Studio, he now serves as the Head of Performing and Visual Arts at an IB School in Chennai. There, he realised the immense scope for quality arts education and its potential for fostering a skilled India ready to dominate the 21st Century.
Contemporary Performing Arts Society is his brainchild and a vibrant platform dedicated to celebrating and promoting meaningful engagement with art in India.
Our mission
The Contemporary Performing Arts Society aims to inspire and nurture the passion for contemporary art forms among individuals of all ages. Through our innovative curriculum, personalised coaching, masterclass sessions, school collaborations, and corporate wellness programs, we aim to empower creative thinking, expression, and critical thinking as we cultivate a deep appreciation for the arts.

The CPA Framework
The Contemporary Program for Arts(CPA) focuses on developing critical thinking skills and enhancing creative thinking abilities using inquiry and a project-based learning approach.
It offers customised learning pathways that are unique yet practical for every individual learner.
It is designed to give you the best approach to learning; based on international curricula and rigorous skill-building syllabi, we will ensure that you become a knowledgeable artist rather than just a performer.
